Fiat is a strategic partner of ASP. Fiat supported the establishment of the ASP and was involved in the feasibility study and logistic steering committee. Fiat operates its Parts & Accessories distribution warehouse from ASP.

Ford Motor Company is a strategic OEM partner of ASP. Ford’s plant is located approximately 35km from ASP and some of Ford’s suppliers are based at ASP.

The Gauteng Provincial Government, through its Department of Economic Development, has supported the development of the ASP from inception. The Provincial Government continues to support the development of ASP by providing infrastructure funding with the objective to stimulating economic growth and employment in the Province
